Could we add RSS functionality to the boards? There are multiple MODs that can plug into this board and provide this functionality. One such MOD is here: http://www.phpbb.com/community/viewtopic.php?t=1214645 The advantage to using this is that we can use news aggregators to monitor specific forums without having to go to the site directly. This also allows us to download the information and save it offline for reading later. The only disadvantage is that it's another MOD you have to unzip, configure, and implement. |
