I was wanting to see if there was any word on MR and WBW. They are coming fast (1 month for MR and 2 for WBW). People need time to plan and save up the money for these events.

Gate fee for WBW will be $25 like most IK events. That includes feast on Sat night. We are trying to budget for other meals if we can. Rules for the battlegame will be up soon.

Are you going to offer a package deal for families? If so how much? If not how much are going to charge for the kids?

$25 for 1 meal, no showers, no facilities, no feast hall? Isn't that a bit steep for primitive camping? Just wondering.

Especially for kids under the age of 10 or something. a lot of us have small children and can't afford $100 gate fees for the entire family. Good suggestion Aria!

Whats this about the gate fee for this event being $25? What about kids? Whats up with that? What should one person expect for this fee? Where is the fee going to? Do we have showers? Do we have flushing bathrooms? Do we have electricty to the camp sites? Do we have a Feast Hall? Do we have anything that this large amount of $$ is worth paying for? A lighted trench field is not worth $25 bucks at the gate.

Just some information for those concerned:
CK 20th was $10 Piratical Sabbatical was/is $15 Harvest War was/is/will be $12 Could not find a price for SKBC and a few others around the Amt-globe, but I do know that Spring War was in fact $25. However... Spring War site (@Giddings) has 4 full bathrooms with STALL DOORS, RUNNING WATER, SOAP and TOILET PAPER and 2 shower stalls per Gender with HOT WATER if you can get there before the beasts with the really deep voices. These marvels of toiletry also include ELECTRICAL OUTLETS. There is a FULL KITCHEN with REFRIGERATION and RANGE OVEN STOVES as well as a SECONDARY KITCHEN with STOVES that is used as a FULL SERVICE SNACK BAR with proceeds being 100% donated to their kingdom. Both kitchens have RUNNING, POTABLE WATER. Outside the secondary kitchen is over 100 FEET of SMOKERS, GRILLS (or BOTH) for making feast. Attached to the PRIMARY KITCHEN is an INDOOR FEAST HALL that they only use for the cold weather events. There is also a BARN or SOMETHING that they string TARPS over beams to make a MAZE for battlegames and then take down to use for a GIANT COVERED FEAST HALL that blocks the wind and rain.
All that for $25. The feast may or may not be served before 10pm.
Just food for thought. I for one would like to see the event fee brought back into line with the facilities that are being offered.

Does anyone want to see Tanglewood with full bathrooms, showers, and plumbing to the Tavern? I do. And I'll gladly pay $25 to pitch in to help see it there. I consider it an investment for future ease whenever I visit.

Connor Sleight wrote: Does anyone want to see Tanglewood with full bathrooms, showers, and plumbing to the Tavern?.......... Well of course you do. So do I. So does everyone who has ever walked the site. But that line has been used on the populace almost from day one. I'm not saying it could never happen. It could. Yeah... I think it could happen. And Delphos could win an EH Weaponmaster. Im just saying that 25$ for this site is a bit high. Darn sure will keep out the riff-raf so maybe thats what the intent is. I'm all for keeping out the poor and meager. But it does have the draw back of smaller numbers at the event Maybe, just maybe they could open the gate for donations or free. All attendees could just donate as much as they feel the need to. I'm not saying it should be that way, but it darn sure would bring out the charity of the club members while not scaring people away. Lets face it, the game is better when we all play it in one spot.

do we have a Gate fee yet for Midreign or did I miss that somewhere?
What was decided about children Gate fees for these? ... or do families need to take out a vacation loan to go to these events?

I believe the Regent posted that MR will be 15$. Which means for 10$ more we get the same site, with the same number of feast, with the same stinky poop boxes, with the same limited water sources, and still no showers for WBW one month later. What a deal. Can't wait!
