Two ships set sail to face the trials from the abyss.
Both must land on the island yet only one is destine to return…
The other, fated for sacrifice to the darker shapes that dwell beneath the surface.

Who will be on board…?
Who will survive to tell the tale of the creature known only from ancient legends?!?!

The Story:
The Vortex remains open!
Leaving the Hills vulnerable to attack from the dark abyss!
Yet the Emperor is taking his royal forces to the gathering of the clans far away in the western kingdom.
Reports are slowly surfacing...
Tales of a great maelstrom forming in the lands between the known Baronies to the north.
Stories of a monstrous creature emerging from a massive crack in the earth which leads straight down to the bowels of hell itself.
Whispers of her name spoken only in the most hushed tones...
Skilla... Skilla... Skilla...
Ancient goddess from the time before time.
Eater of worlds, destroyer of all life... Skilla.
She must be stopped before she gains her full strength or there will be no hope left for those who call the Hills home.
Who will be brave enough to take the treacherous sea journey to the "Island of the Damned" to find the weapon of legend. The only thing that can stop Skilla!
Who will die in the cold deep waters between the Maelstrom and the Monster...

I love the fact that the site that hosted Duchy Maneuvers is still getting some use. Even if they jacked it up a bit (I was out there 6 months or so ago and they had one of the bridges down).

However, i believe there's extra parking at a facility next door, IIRC.

First outing for me since returning to Texas .. good place to host it too. See you all there.

(Edit) .. Shadowhaven is alive again? And a BARONY o.O ..

Hated missing you Brigade! I managed to make it around 4pm but the visit was worth it.
