Today Ghosttiger and I traveled on over to Fayetteville, AR for the opening of a new Freehold called Razor Hills. The co-founder is a wonderful Amtgardian named Moose. I think some ppl around here either know her or have heard of her. ....Anyways ..off we went through the snow storm, not knowing that about 40 mins later we had received an e-mail to let us know that due to bad roads ...they had postponed their opening! We have GOT to get the smoke signal on our comp repaired ..lol! Their park is fantastic! open space, a bridge over a small brook...just over a half mile of trails through some beautiful woods. On top of it all it looked just like a post card today with the snow. On the 10th they will try to open again. It wasn't a wasted trip at all, we got to meet up with an old friend and play catch up while there, and he just may be a new recruit for Moose and company. It was nice to get away and we are looking forward to traveling out there soon. |
