The Kingdom of the Emerald Hills

Does anyone have any experience making wooden medieval furniture. I am wanting to make portable stuff to take to events, but I would love to see designs for bigger stuff to have around the house. If anyone knows a good source for cheap or free plans/patterns or instructional websites please let me know. I would also be interested in any sources for medieval style woodworking tools.

For period stuff the SCA is an invaluable resource, just tack it onto about any search term from feast to garb and you'll likely get a decent number of useful hits. ;)
