I am wanting to make a hooded cloak for when I play assassin but I have no idea how. And also what is the best core to use for a really good daggar.

if you're wanting a swishy dagger use a tent pole section, its fiberglass and awesome, just gotta remove that metal piece. or if you want something to clobber someone with, and make sure they feel it, use some pvc.

For daggers? A simple piece of bamboo. Since the weapon is so short the leverage against the core is minimal. The most important part will be the handle. The firmer you can hold the dagger, the more effective your blocking will be. If the handle doesn't fit your hand, the dagger will wiggle... and wiggly daggers are weak blocks.

Anything makes a good core for daggers. It's short enough that weight shouldn't be an issue and they tend to be less likely to break. A lot of daggers tend to be made from scraps of core left over from other weapons.

alot depends on how you want to use it. for a bowie knife or heavy bladed dagger 3/4" pvc works good, for a lighter more fencing style dagger go with lighter cores. For flat bladed daggers i have used three graphite rods tapped flat together for a nice base.

Alot also depends on how much work you want to put into the weapon, smaller cores require more work if you want a comfortable grip (especially if you are large handed like I am lol).
