By our rulebook, I would count this as brig. Only the part with metal would get the armor value. The leather portion would be as strapping holding together the armor. It wouldn't count as having a Gambison (that must be separate). The picture looks like it is possible that it may have Superior Overlap but for the Heavy Gauge and quality bonuses, one would really need to have a visual inspection.

Most of this, of course, is up to interpretation upon inspection.

That is a link with better pictures.

Assumptions: The metal is at least 18 gauge steel. Both the leather and integrated padding are at least 1/16th inch.

I would rate it at 4. It appears to be about 50% coverage plate(5), over leather(1), with an integrated gambeson(+1) mentioned in the description.
