After a long discussion about the changing nature of Amtgard web use; The high officers, the EH Webmaster, and the EH WebAdmin have come to the following decisions:

The park pages linked off of this page:
http://www.amtgard-eh.com/parks.html
Will be redirected to the Amtwiki page for each park.

Each park will now be asked to update their Amtwiki page, instead of the kingdom maintaining a park page for them.

The park forums listed lower in this Forum may be changed to redirects to another community if a park wishes to opt out of this forum. For example the MS park forum could be changed to link to the MS facebook group.

MOST pages can be edited by anyone, without even logging in. Although it is a good idea to make an account for yourself as there is some editing that only registered members can do. For instance the owner of a page can lock it from anonymous editing. When this happens there will not be an option to edit unless you are logged in. There are some pages that are only editable by admins, like the front page.

How to start editing: click edit at the top of a page to edit the entire page, or click on the edit link on the right of a section header to edit that section. Make the changes you want and hit preview to see how it looks, or save changes if you are sure you are done. The spam controls will ask you a general knowledge question about Amtgard. They SHOULD all be answerable by looking in the rulebook. Make sure the changes went through. And enjoy the newly updated page.

A cheat sheet for editing a wiki:

Here is the in depth descriptions with examples:

Now there are some advanced features that are unique to the amtwiki, but honestly 99% of people will not need to do it. If you have a detailed question about a feature you don't understand, you can make a post in the wiki forum on esam.
