V8 updates have moved to a Release Candidate nomenclature.

Modify immunities so they no longer prevent enchantments from being worn.
Clarify that Banish requires the player to return to base and end their insubstantial state
immediately upon arrival
Added ‘Touch’ as a range for Blessed Armor on the Healer spell list
Added in Quest Abilities section.
Song of Power needs to be updated to match the new Charge incant.
Add in the word ‘full class’ before ‘battlegame’ under ‘credits and levels’.
Change ‘dimensional anchor’ to ‘planar grounding’.
Change credit scaling
Clean up madu section
Change Awe/Terror/Etc from ‘casts another magic at the target’ to ‘begins casting another’.
Dispel Magic now only removes enchantments.
Fix Heat Weapon incant under the incantation definition.
Make Shake It Off work against any ongoing state or effect (so it can remove the effects ofAwe/Fear)
Update Blessing Against Harm and Blessed Aura to prevent effects (terror, awe, heat weapon)
as well.
Updated Adrenaline to function when Undead Minion or similar activates. Updated the incantation
to ‘Adrenaline’.
Updated Scavenge to function when Undead Minion or similar activates. Updated the incantation
to ‘Scavenge’.
Ambulant now allows an incantation to be said while moving instead of a magic.
(Greater) Undead Minion is now removed when the bearer returns to the caster if the caster has
died, rather than immediately.
(Greater) Undead Minions may no longer be ressed if a living opponent within 10ft of the minion.
This prevents stalemates in bridge battles and the like.
(Greater) Undead Minion must now be Touched in order to be raised.
Removed Honor Duel due to unfixable and complicated loopholes, replaced with Shove.
Moved Vampirism to 4th level on the wizard spell list.
Cleaned up wording on Evoker
Fix the wording on Troll Blood and Pheonix Tears
Replace Yield with Abeyance
(Greater) Undead Minion respawn incant increased.
Clarified that thrown weapons and magic balls do not require a minimum foam depth on their
Strike Legal portions.
Added a note to Battlegame Components for Respawns encouraing death counts not to be
shorter than the longest negative duration on the field.
Added a note to Battlegame components for Refreshes indicating Refreshes should be use
sparingly to encourage thoughtful and strategic use of per­refresh abilities. Also clarified in that
section what a Refresh does.Fix the padding requirements on thrown weapons and their cores
Rock diameter reduce to 10” in every direction.
Updated Brutal Strike to make the victim Cursed and Suppressed, but now has a 30 second
timer and must be used immediately upon dealing a wound. This means an AP can stop a
Barbarian from going FAD if he Wounds him and uses Brutal Strike before killing him.
Include armor rewrite
Siege weapon section updated
Clarified the wording on Teleport for level 6 Assassin
Taking a death renders you removes persistent enchantments
Remove reference to protection school in sanctuary incant.
Fix imbue weapon
Cleaned up Insubstantial.
Note that Insubstantial makes you able to ignore terrain effects and boundaries unless otherwise
noted by the game designer.
Renamed ‘Class Masterhood’ to ‘Paragon’ in order to avoid confusion with the award
Masterhoods. Instead of being a Master Wizard you would now be a Wizard Paragon.
Added in the section about RPing in Amtgard from Goldcrest
Updated Summon Dead to indicate it resets the ‘have they moved’ status on dead players.
