I propose to add a Representative position for the Circle of Monarchs duties. I think that having someone gather information and assist the Monarch with handling the day to day duties of the Circle would allow the Monarch to focus on running the Kingdom itself. There are several other Kingdoms that have added this position and they have said it works well. This does not take any of the decision making from the Monarch but allows them to take a small step back from the duties to the CoM to concentrate on the Kingdom.
IX Other Positions
H. Circle of Monarchs Representative 1. The Representative is elected at the first Kingdom election following the Gathering of the Clans event. 2. The Representative serves a one year term. 3. The Representative is expected to keep up with Circle of Monarchs Facebook group and to advise the Kingdom Monarch before a vote. 4. The Representative is expected to coordinate with the Kingdom Rules Rep and GMR for any rules changes coming before the Circle of Monarchs. 5. The Kingdom Monarch may appoint the Representative as his or her representative to the Circle of Monarchs meeting if they are unable to attend.

Sara, what is your thinking on the general time table of having them elected AFTER Clan? Just trying to wrap my head around the whole thing.

I am actually looking at going with Forest's suggestion and having them elected during the Spring elections.
