Dissention in the ranks of the Pirates; Two in specific, leave, one after another with short periods in time before their abandonment of the ship.

Snappy leaves first; going on shore leave for a time, uncertain of when he will return. He resumes going by his birth name, Garret Blackwood, and proceeds to simply enjoy himself by spending time with friends and aquaintences.

Fenris was the next to go, seeking out my half-brother, Garret, to speak with him. She found him in a tavern at an outlying port town that he frequents. Downing his good bottle of Rum and as always the center of attention in the ring of men around him. But it isn't to long before he spots me and excuses himself toward a shadowed table in the corner to speak.

"Fenris, nice to see you again, Fallen didn't quite...work...for you either, did it, Sister?", he asks, upon sitting down. "Not really.", she replied. "You ever heard of rats leaving the sinking ship ?"
"Of Course" Garret pipes in. "Well so do wolves. I saw things turning abit a miss ahead of time and 'barrowed' a dingy."
Garret nods in response, choosing his words carefully for a moment. "Iron may be stronger than wood, but blood runs thicker than water.", he says.

"Perhaps what we need is not a band of brigands or a crew of pirates, but to renew our strength through family." Fenris nods and replies, "Food is plenty here, and the drink flows freely. Revelry abounds when there is peace, and our family has the strength to protect one another when there is not. Perhaps we should bring our kindred to these hills. The Rom would find this haven quite suitable."
Garret replies, "I agree. Let it be done, then... We shall send word out."

The two leave, heading in their own directions.

Fenris travels to speak to the elves, which with she shares some lineage as a halfblood. And to the Unseelie Court where a treacherous conversation awaits her.
The Elves were the easier of the 2 of her tasks. She asks them for guidence on how to proceed and if any of them would join her on her quest.
Some souls do decide to agree to the migration. Insterested more in the Arts and Sciences of the Emerald Land than of it's warfare.

The Unseelie Court on the other hand was a journey that she decided to hold out on till her families formation. She was quite sure the Queen of that land had a few nasty words for her. But she would have to pay the piper eventually.

Garret makes way for where he and his half-sister were raised ...Blackwood Forest. And there the elders grant the siblings leave to travel again to the Kingdom. Giving them also the gift of there name, The Rebels of Blackwood, and permission to use the Blackwood symbol. An ancient symbol of Life amongst their kind.

As Garret stood among the great oaks. The pale blue light of Penta candles hung from the limbs, mixed with the hues of orange and red from the fire below he told them of the families dream. And the dream of this other world that both he and his sister had been swept up in. The dream that was and still is Amtgard.

After listening the Elders looked to each other but did not speak. Garret always had wondered how the aged men and women spoke to one another yet never made a sound. He always asked Fenris about it because she to knew their magical ways.
And she would always laugh and speak in riddles to him it seemed more than an explanation.
He was also strong in the ways of magic but the two siblings shared this gift in different ways, quite complementary to one another at times. But very different.

"We see great hardship for your sister and for you in the times ahead. But we feel you can accomplish your goals if you can keep the family together", the oldest replied.

Taking Garret out of his childhood memories for a moment and back to the present. He nodded agreement and took his leave. "Be Well," Garret said with a bow before leaving the circled trees and dark woods.

He would meet up with his sister at their Manor house. A beautiful yet gaurded building at the edge of a mist filled lake. It would be there that they would dicuss there future plans for their company. And their future plans for the Kingdom of Emerald that for a time they left behind after jumping ship.

As Fenris made her way down the now familiar woods and paths to the manor house after speaking with the Elves, she couldn't help but allow her mind to wander. What was she starting here, would it get out of hand ? Once she set things in motion she realized that there could be no stopping the tide. Their would be much to dicuss with her brother in the comming months. And she still had to see the Unseelie Queen, something she was not looking forward to.
