Sirrakhis Larethian, descendant of
Corellon Larethian spent his early years roaming Elysium and Arboria, but was seduced by the lure of war and battle via the Dark God, and left his place among the ascended to walk (and battle) among the mortals. For his defiance, Sirrakhis was cast out of Arboria by Corellon, and then cursed by the Seldarine to bring strife wherever peace was needed. This curse came in the form of a Dragon relentlessly pursuing Sirrakhis. {{In reality Sirrakhis is transformed into the dragon, and unable to cope with the change so often, the Sirrakhis/Dragon often becomes violently out of control.}}
Doomed, Sirrakhis has long fought for balance and freedom, but never sees the fruit of his labors, for the Dragon emerges often and insures that his work is never done.
1988-1992
This cycle has persisted for millenia, and Sirrakhis has purportedly found a technique allowing him to control both when his transformation occurs, and retain his senses when the transformation does occur. Whether this change in the curse is the gods' version of forgiveness is subject to much debate, but even Sirrakhis will not answer this question. Known as alarmingly dangerous in battle, Sirrakhis was found in many small companies of men, among them were Dragon's Teeth(led by Gavin Quinn), White Lions(Monks led by Mithralicus), Black Widow Company(Led by Cedric), and Wolf Pack(led by Landolf).
Before finding his 'cure' Sirrakhis was affiliated with the infamous Dark God, and in some texts known as "The Hand of the Dark One." Well known for his glorious, but short-lived city-state known as Ironcloud, Sirrakhis taste for conquest grew, but so did his patience and compassion. Other minions of the Dark One, collectively known as Argent Moon (led by Gareth Blackhawk aka The Dark God) for some time were widely known as wielders of the most collossal and deadly of magics throughout the Kingdoms. However, even as Sirrakhis learned to wield the laws of nature with alarming ability, power corrupts the powerful, and so did the "Argent Moon" find itself waning from a great dispute regarding only the slightest of offenses. Time passed, and Sirrakhis moved on.
1992-1993
After many years in the company of old friends (he considers most "his children") Sir Dog, Lord Maximilian, Dame Squeak!, Roguea, and Hummingbird, the small Band calling themselves Leonine travelled the Emerald Hills and became involved in many cities still thriving today...Shadowdale(now known as Midnight Sun)...MurkWood...and most of all...Eagleshire. Following these year all the friends went their seperate ways, but never forgetting their short time of relative peace.
Following Leonine's disbanding, Sirrakhis found himself in service to neither King nor Company, and instead decided to hone his skills in the realms of Swordsmanship. It was here that he (and Lord Maximilian) found themselves desirous of old friends' comeraderie (at that time with the NightHawks). Unfortunately, trajedy struck from another direction than Sirrakhis' horrible curse. Cabal, leader of the Nighthawks, drank himself into a stupor very early on that eve, and inso completely forgot two of his oldest friends were to be inducted that very night. Rather offended, Maximilian chose to simply go into hermitage in his quest for "The Great Song". However, Sirrakhis was none-too-amused by Cabal's actions, and went to spend time with the newly formed House of the Green Dragon and Purple Cow to gather himself for the upcoming battles over the next year as the powers of the Kingdoms shifted heavily that year in a very warlike direction.
1993-Present
What Sirrakhis found in this Household was nothing short of astounding!!! Never before had he seen such tenacity from mortals! They weren't numerous, but their presence on the battlefield was astounding. they accompliushed with 10-20 what most would require twice the number. They reveled not in the battle but in life. The joy wasnt in the sword, but in the celebrations. And of course, as the years passed, The Green Dragons grew, and Sirrakhis grew with them.
I have written a number of shorts for this persona and little hints within old prose that were deliberately suppoed to give agressors an edge on the field versus me if they read them, as well as some other aspects of why Sirrakhis does the things he does on the field and off. I am not going to publish them yet though because I want them in Quals first.
