While on a royal hunting excursion, Queen Clio was sent an invitation to render aid in determining who had the most valid claim to the soon-to-be vacant throne of the Celestial Kingdom. As King (Or Queen) making was of interest to HRM, she accepted the offer.
Chaos and confusion were what awaited the queen. One of the contenders dropped his claim to the throne, and the other was terribly ill, so much so that he was exceptionally tardy in arriving with the evidence to support his claim to the throne, thus throwing doubt on the validity of the claim, particularly in the art of war...... The gentlemen competing for king's champion both fell short of the mark, as well. Only the candidate for regency, showed himself to be a true heir for the princehood.
Not one to let such an opportunity pass, Queen Clio declared the Emerald Hills would take over protectorship of the Celestial Kingdom until such a time that a true heir can qualify. (ooc: Or, until the Queen is no longer in power) Naturally, they do not recognize the protectorship.
Queen Clio has put out a word for volunteers to go south to "sort things out."
