Ok, I tried this before, but with minimal results. However, I am a glutton for punishment so I am going to try again. I want to run a 24-hour RP event.
I think I know the problem from last time. More set up. I will need people to be there and be ready as NPCs before the players start in order to make ther event work. I have not talked to Trinity about hosting this during his reign, but will do so at Coronation.
Let me answer a few questions before people ask them:
1.) No, people will not be required to participate if they come to the event.
2.) The RP will not interfere with the trenching / main quest or battlegame (though RP will be part of the quest).
3.) Camping areas will be out of play as will the trench field and feast prep area.
The hope is to have an event where both pure stick jocks and role players will have a choice of things to do. I am hoping to have an in game tavern, wandering monsters, quest objectives, in game money, and prizes for the people who participate.
If you would be interested in playing an NPC, or interested in just participating, let me know.

So what time frame are you looking into making this a possiblity?
Currently planning on hosting the 24hr RP I had planned for midreign this weekend.

Midreign is what I would want to shoot for, but if not the hopefully Dec. Coronation.
If I get enough volunteers to get it going I'll start posting more details.
