The Kingdom of the Emerald Hills

I screwed up this past Saturday, allowing a 13 year old onto the field.
It was due to my incorrect understanding of the "under 14" policy
currently in place in our Kingdom.

From this point forward, and for the remainder of this reign, no persons
under the age of 14 at Midnight Sun will engage in Amtgard combat.

I was wrong. I apologize.

i did not say that i was saying the Rayel was not wrong cause he was a page and did not fight as normal before this rule (albeit i dont agree with but will abide by ) was handed down cause as Rayel put it AMTGARD COMBAT he did not fight he was a page and that i am afraid to say is a grey area where i do not know the ruling that would come from Morgan

Sorry it took so long to get back to you, I have
limited access during business hours.

Under 14 can be non-combat pages as per page 14
of the rulebook. They can be on the field, and retrieve
spent equipment, but not fight. I'll check and see what
I have for gold strips to denote their non-fghting statuts.
Worst case, I'll go get fabric and sew some.

Sparring, which I permitted and encouraged this
past Saturday, is out.
