I saw it all. Brennon dumped this poor kid out of his wheelchair, stuck his boot on the guys throat and full draw shot the kid in the junk with an arrow that had nothing but a washer on the end. Then he pulled out a claw hammer and proceeded to smash the cripples left knee cap.
It was really a nasty thing to watch.
I would like to start a petition to Brennon from any park IF he is caught with a claw hammer in his gear bag or on his person.

I make a habit of regularly combing the users list and hitting the ignore button on certain people before ever even reading what they post. So could somebody else check the user profile to see if in fact this was his first post to the boards, possibly implying that his entire reason for joining the forums was not to engage in productive conversation with fellow Kingdom members, but to stir up shit?

When i was at midnight sun last,
I shot a kid...on purpose....from like 15' away.
he knew it was coming and he was also planning on blocking said shot.
Now...where was I aiming? Collar bone.
Where did i hit him? Bottom of the Throat.
Explanation? Accident...shit happens.

All in all if amtgard wasn't ment for people to get hurt why isnt it a board game?

Thangorn, congratulations. That is the wisest thing i have ever heard on this forum. And your trend up to now has been less than comforting.

This is SO not true. Meant to get hurt? So in this game people are "meant" to get hurt? So by that reasoning if I decide to shield bash you to the ground and them kick you in the head it's all good cause iyt was "meant to happen"? Bullshit!
Now the accident that happened is over. But don't say that this game is designed to hurt people.

Thangorn, I think you made a poor choice of words. I think you'd have better expressed the point you wished to make had you said "if people want to eliminate all risk of getting hurt, why isn't it a board game?".
There is always a risk of getting hurt, and there's always the risk of sharing the field with assholes who will attempt to skate the line on what is and isn't allowed. That's why we have waivers, and that's why participation is voluntary (we have had people leave parks and play elsewhere because they didn't want to be on the same field as other people). But the way you said it sounded like injury is *supposed* to happen, like it's not really a day at the park unless we've called a hold because someone is doubled up on the ground. And I don't think that's what you meant. It had better not be.

Thats more along the lines of what you probably meant, but come on people he isn't out of middle school yet. No big words. it's hard enough understanding the disuse of spellcheck

Yet again I (this time) ask nicely for everyone to drop the subject. It happened, it's over, what's done is done. It's not that I expect for accidents not to happen it's just funny now. No permanent damage was done and now I have a funny story to tell..."Hey, Brenon you remember that one time you shot me in the nuts?" and then he'll laugh then you all will laugh then I'll laugh and we'll all die a little inside.
Sincerely
Gavalan "Victim" L.
