It was a good day for the Shire this past Saturday. We had an official census of 15 sign-ins (including two visitors from other parks, and one new player). Several of our members are still sick or recovering from the flu, so I'm optimistic that our numbers will continue to climb once the weather improves and "plague" season is over. Aside from some trenching, we had three successful battlegames (mutual annihilation, Warlord, and a Plaguer scenario). I think I counted a of total 5 shields, 4 bows, and 1 spellcaster (a healer). The games were good times for all. I'm afraid the news is not good regarding the Plaguers. The initial posse that was formed to go investigate them never returned... I fear that Midnight Sun may have more trouble with them in the coming months. |
