Would it be possible to include a forum catagory for Articles and one for responses to the articles...??? IMO this is one of the better aspects of E-sam that I'd like to see here on the EH Forums. Well Elder, It's been almost a Month now and I have seen PAG get his own section on the forum and two new parks have areas as well... So, who is it that you had to "Talk To" about my request for a section with articles and one for discussion of said articles...??? And just how was that inquiry sent...??? By snail? worm? turtle? smoke signals? message in a bottle tossed into the ocean? psychic mind connection? Well, I hate to tell ya but Whoever you needed to talk to and However you tried to reach them... It ain't workin' out to well now is it...??? Is there Someone Else I should be talking to...??? Cause it sure as hell ain't YOU...!!! Unless I'm Friggin' PAG...!!! Just Sayin'.... and Waitin'... and Waitin' some More... Well here we are almost a full two months since my original request regarding a Forum Space for Aricles and one for Replies to Articles. I understand the personal circumstances concerning the Owner of the Forums and I am certainly concerned and empathetic to his situation... I do hope things are going better and conditions are improving. So, with respect to him and his family... I am asking the Moderators to again consider my request and take it upon themselves to include such a Space in the near future. I do believe that this addition to the EH Forums would be something advantageous to the populace at large and open an avenue for discussion and stimulate the thought process which could only add to the mutual understanding between all members of this kingdom. Thank You for your time and consideration regarding this matter... |

I had a long conversation about the with Martello and several other people at the CC Halloween get-together. Several points that came up include: We already have a place for longer articles to go for distribution to the kingdom, in the newsletters, and we should be encouraging articles to be posted in the newsletters rather than just in the forums; If it is something that has a larger potential audience, it can just be posted to Esam; We don't want a forum that just duplicates all of the EH submissions to Esam; If it is something that you want to post online, you can already post articles to the forums, just in the General forum or the A&S forum; There doesn't seem to be enough articles being posted to drive a forum on their own, and the few posts that happen currently help the traffic in the General forum or the A&S forum; Conversely there isn't so much traffic in the General or A&S forums that an article would be lost in the clutter. We are going to decline this feature request. |
