Had a good park day today. A couple new members jojned up and we had a castle seige battle game. Skullband led the defenses of Dragonshire and Nightengael roused an army to overthrow the keep. The defenders narrowly won the day. Good times, good attitudes and good roleplay. Dragonshire is the place to be. :) Also, many of us will not be out this next Sunday, so attendance may be light. I will be back out on the 13th. |

I have to say this is the most hilarious thing that I've seen happen in Amtgard to date, though the press of the game was overlain with awkwardly implemented rules issues on both sides. Out of Character, bumble bees seem to support the decision to start role play of any kind, and the excuse for company-biased teams and lopsided battles with fortifications and the like are great, and will immediately begin digging out ropes and sheets to make "walls" or other barriers for these kinda battle games you seem to be moving the park towards. In Character, the Hivelander nomads are shamed by this takeover and return to their lairs to rebuild and recuperate... Strange sounds are heard at all hours of the day and rumours of dark engines of war returning from their ancient slumber fill the populace. Lord bumble bees legions are sure to attack in two weeks time, and in greater numbers. |
