Could you post sample prices based on fabric and patterns? This way people will at least know the ballpark of what they can expect to pay if they call regarding having garb made.

We are working on a price list... right now we have a few set.

Basic tabard $5
Tunic $10-$15
Wrap Pants $15-$20

Again the prices vary by amount of fabric used and fabric type. I will sit down and tally up which items will cost what made with which fabric... thats a tongue twister.

Anyways, we will have more by the end of the week after we sit down and make a few surplus items. Some of the products listed havent been made in a while so we have to remember how long it takes to make to get the prices set.

You mention charging extra for rush jobs, so what's your average turnaround time assuming you either have the materials in stock or have them provided by the customer?

That also depends on the item and whether or not we have working machinery.

The ornate garb can take up to a month.

Fitted items can take up to two weeks if they are of a standard cut.

The general fighting items should take a week or less depending on how many other orders are in process.

This is assuming that we dont have an item premade in stock ready to be shipped.

Could you possibly post a list of construction costs in the mean time for those of us who have a fabric on hand and are inept at garb.

I personally have a full complement of weapons, shields, and garb that need covers and completion now that the person who used to do it for me has moved. But I do posses a massive amount of fabric.

Additionally, can you make quilted items?

Each item depends on the intricacies of the item as well as sizing. There is no set rule for pricing since every garment is different. Does your list of materials on hand also include thread, interfacings and other potentially required or desired items for finishing? (i.e. clasps, rick-rack, tassels, trims, lace, etc.) We would be more than happy to talk with anyone and discuss pricing for simple construction of the garb from materials you already have.

We would need dimensions for the weapons and shields so we could create covers that fit. It might be easier if we could see the item to take measurements so we know what the measurements corespond to.

Define quilted. If you mean can we work with pre-quilted fabrics, yes. If you mean can we do machine quilting, yes. If you are asking if we do hand quilting, yes BUT it is rather expensive. If we could talk about the item you want quilted, how you wish to have it put together, etc, I think we could give you a more accurate/fair pricing per item.

Sounds good. I will try to make it out to eagleshire with my arsenal in a couple of months.
