Pray attend!

Have a crafting skill that you want to show off? Have an ingenious way of building swords or armor? Can you twist your hips like no other? (No, not you Forest)

Please step forward if you would like to run a workshop for WBW. You will be required to have an 'agenda' for your workshop and provide the tools/materials required for your demonstration and attendee participation. Common workshops listed below, but if you have one in particular you would like to run, speak up.

Confirmed Workshops
  • Bardic & Song (or how to be the center of attention) - by Sir Larin Moonstar
  • Belt weaving - by Dame Tanara
  • BellyDancing - by Daemonchyld
  • Oratory (Acting) - by Sir Forest Evergreen
  • Flower Hair Wreaths- by Ella
  • Heraldry - by Sir Gavvin

Random Ideas
  • Leather working - cuirbouille, belts, etc
  • Chain mail construction - European, Japanese, Persian, etc.
  • Weapon Construction - swords/etc
  • Archery - arrow construction and tips
  • Performance Arts - belly dance, story, or bardic song

I can do a leather workshop. I'll have them make a sword frog for starters, and for the more ambitious that want to stay longer, I can teach belt-making.

Cuirbouille unfortunately is out of the question, since I use an electric stove for that.

depending on what the Dr. says, I might be willing to run a bellydance workshop....just the basics though and let me stress WORKSHOP, NOT PERFORMANCE!!!! if the ones that show up for the workshop want to perform later then cool!!!

If there is any interest, I could do a Heraldry workshop.... put it down as tenative if so. I am still working out arrangements to be there.

Sorry it took me so long to reply, I will be happy to teach a class on how to use flowers to make a hair wreath.

For those of you leading a class, how long do you wish for your sessions to last? I'm guessing an average of @ 1 hour. Each of the lessons will be on Friday @ noon-early afternoon. Larin has requested that his session take place Saturday night prior to bardic.

I think it could be really cool if either Larin or Forest's sessions had a goal to provide some sort of skit that could be performed at the bardic too.

I don't think I can be at site until Friday afternoon. Please place mine as one of the later workshops on Friday.
