More than several people have asked me when I will be opening declarations for the next Crown term. I think it's a little early still, since Quals and Elections aren't until June, but I will open them before the end of this month.
In the meantime, there is nothing stopping you from getting your active status up and working on your Quals entries. So please, don't wait for me to open declarations before you start working on these things.
There are a lot of new players who are entertaining the idea of running for kingdom or park offices and have lots of questions. So I am going to give some information here just so you all know where to go to find what you need to know.
1. Read your Corpora! I can't tell you how many questions I get that are easily answered by picking up this little book. I am happy to answer them, but if you're going to hold an office it is my opinion that you need to be familliar with the rules and where to go to clarify them.

2. Quals entries... I am not the Regent, nor the person in charge of War events. You can look at past Quals forum posts if you choose... here is one:

3. Active Status: In order to hold office at Kingdom or Park level you must:
* Be at least 18 years old
* Be a member of the EH for at least 6 months
* Be current on your dues ($6.00 for six months)
* Be active: 4 signins in seven months
4. Which offices are coming up in June?

Read your Corpora to find out the term lengths for Guildmasters, BOD, RGK, etc...
