Hey guys,
I'd like to invite you all to TD's very first event as a kingdom! Yeah, its just WM/DM, but its gonna be a weekend event complete with battlegames, lit ditch, bonfire and all the awesome partying you expect from a good amtgard event.
Dates: August 20-22
Location: Bar-K Wrangler camp near Chadwick MO (about 30 miles south of Springfield MO)
Gate Fee : 10 bucks
Feast will be provided on saturday, Veg-folk will be kept in mind :)
I'll post a detailed list of events on monday.

Thank you so much for the invitation to the event. I wish I could make it. Will definitely be making a trip up there sometime in the near future.

When you say first Kingdom event, followed by WM/DM? Does that mean that this is the same Kingdom 2day WM/DM that Forest is running? Cuz if so.... man thats a long way to drive to sit in the heat and watch the newest newbie-fu.
Not so sure I'm up for that?

So here it is... 24hrs later and I'm still not sure if this is the Kingdom level event that I asked about or if this is some sort of local WM/dm tourney?
Thanks are not due for any quick reply from the people in charge of the Kingdom.
Maybe another kingly death will bring out a faster reply?

Oh... Thank the Gods... I really couldn't see me driving 7.5hrs to represent my Kingdoms SK. Friday August 20th:
12:00 pm Gate opens (volunteers needed - contact me for a shift) **Event cost is $10**
Sign Up for WeaponMaster will be at Gate.
Friday night sometime: Kenshin's Battlegame
Saturday August 21st:
10:00 am DragonMaster Sign Up will Open In the DragonMaster Tent.
10:30 am WeaponMaster Sign Up is closed.
11:00 am WeaponMaster Tournament will begin.
1:00 pm DragonMaster Sign Up is closed
1:30 pm DragonMaster Judges Meeting and Judging will begin Starting with the Food Category. Bardics/Presentations will be scheduled throughout the afternoon, you will be given a time slot... if you miss your time slot you will be disqualified, we are not going to run around and try to find you.
2:00 pm IF WeaponMaster has not finished will be breaking for the heat of the day. Missouri has been having a 105+ heat index recently, so during the heat of the day we will not be running the main Tournament or major Battlegames. We encourage people to take this time to relax in the shade or cool down in the swimming hole. DragonMaster Judging will continue through the heat of the day, but don't worry judges we will be in the shade in a large tent.
5:00 pm IF WeapnMaster was not finished will resume. If WeaponMaster already finished/when it does finish, Jewfro will be running a Battlegame too.
7:00 pm Feast hosted by Knoblands
9:00 pm Afterhours Party!!! ($5 over the age of 21) in the Big Tent! All night Lit-Ditch
Sunday August 22nd:
Pack Up and Go Home
OR
Visit the Knoblands in Springfield, MO for the afternoon.

nevron, this is wm/dm in the newest kingdom in amtgard. (congrats guys)
its also the weekend of celestial kingdom's midreign. if im not mistaken, tal dagore's midreign is the weekend after ours.

yeah... I get it now. I guess I was just not looking as hard as I should of been when it came to this series of postings. The date of the event might have told me something was up as well but I glazed right over that.
Oh well... at least I didn't hit "reply all".
