Made it out to Eagleshire and got a lot (509) pictures of the tournament though I did miss some of the polearm battles as I was taking my reeve test.

PS: it is still uploading atm and I am off to take a nap. When it gets to 985 it is done.
I almost didnt make it out as I had a tire blowout on the way up from Lake Worth. Had to wait around until a family member was able to bring me my spare that was conveniently removed from my car to make room for equipment...

Fun event even for a small turnout. Nights were pretty cold high 30s-mid 40s but the mid-morning to evening was great temp wise. Tavern in Tanglewood is pretty awesome. Thanks to Threejugs Friday night was full of liquid warmth at the tavern.

I ran across a file on my PC that had some old pictures that I took at NorthGuard, a shire that I started in Minnesota back in 2002. It lasted through 2 winters until I moved back to Texas for a while before returning.

Today was Binary day(01/10/10) at Artus Pass which held a great park event. The facilities are great, nice open area with privy nearby, children's play area for those with young ones, not to mention a lot of vehicle traffic. Every now and again we would have someone honking at us while we were sparring or battle gaming. There were several walk ups during the event many of which stayed to have feast with us and see what we were about. Tigerhawke and Ghosttiger drove down from Red Storm park in Oklahoma. Those of you that missed it truly did, I wish I had taken more pictures than I had but I was having fun participating in the event
Cheers
