This will be an exciting week at MWG! Not only will it be the last weekend before Christmas (provided we make it past 12/21), it's our coronation! I have a lot of awards from the kingdom to give out to people, so make sure you're there! What's planned fr the week: We're running a Christmas-themed battlegame this weekend. Santa's mad about people taking his presents when they don't deserve them, so he's gone a bit crazy. Help us knock some sense and holiday cheer back into him! But beware of his elf helpers and the reindeer wandering around in the woods as well..... Whoever defeats Santa gets to lay claim to his magic toy bag, and you never know what may be inside it (spelled out: there is a prize for the winner of the battlegame). There will also be a game for the kids! Crazy Aunt Lucynda is trying to find some more elves to help in Santa's workshop. Kids will help her round them up and bring them to her for assignment. Each child who participates will receive an Elf Wrangler belt favor and there will be a prize for the child who rounds up the most elves. Of course we can't forget about the ditching. Come on out to Mourningwood Glen for a fun pre Christmas Saturday! |

We had an awesome day on field on Saturday. The main game went off pretty well. Lots of participants! They managed to knock some sense into Santa so he'd deliver presents instead of trying to kill everyone (probably for the best). The winners of the game got some pretty cool prizes, including a dagger, belt pouch and lots of candy. Thank you to everyone who played a monster. Also a big thank you to Lucynda and Catarina for running the kids' treasure hunt. We had 4 participants who all received an elf wrangler belt favor. The winner of the game was Deimos' son, who won a Christmasy monster face crayon tote. Hope everyone had a happy holiday! |
