I figured I'd start a topic here so we can post what we did, what we saw, and what could be better. While surfing Esam, I found this:

I've updated the V8 Class Cheat Sheets to revision 8.6. These are 1 page or 3 page cheat sheets for each class containing all the class information and incants. They also contain core basic rules that people get everyone understanding V8 really quick (States, effects, schools of magic, and a few other things as space permitted). Please let me know if you come across any mistakes as compared to the V8.6 rulebook.

today we did a level 1 playtest. 5 on 6 ring the bell to 5pts. 2 bells for refresh.

Scouts: adaptive blessing rocks....maybe needs to be move up a level.
Wizard: short sword, force barrier and 3 shoves (great bell defense)
Druid: short sword, 4 heat weapon (rechargeable)
Archer: bow broke during game, used short for rest of game
Paladin: plays as V7 paly...once you notice change to immune to command and death
Monk: same as v7
warriors: scavage is pretty good giving advantage over v7 warrior

knee on ground was good, as turtling warriors are now a bit powered down. "agressive shield work" not so much a major change to those who have seen it before.
