This weekend (July 20) we will start off with the first quest of the reign.

the objective is simple, find a good spot to dig a well, and hold that area for 35 min. (it takes a while to dig a well).

this is a half life count battlegame, come alive at a base. Defenders will come alive at Nirvanna, attackers will come alive at base. Normal life counts 7.7pie rules.

July 27 Battlegame.
an oldie but a goodie: Day/Night battle (Capture the flag)
Rules: May only move the flag during the "day" (when night is called, drop the flag), go back to base at "night" Day = 2min, night = 1 min. Hold the flag at your base for 5 continuious days. Flag must be moved more than 25ft to reset count.
Assassin's Bonus: assassin's may move at night to kill one person, may not affect/effect game item (no touching the flag at night)

August 3rd Battlegame
a simple bridge battle. destroy the other team, full class, come alive at your end of the bridge (area will be marked). if you fall off of the bridge, you die (crocidiles in the moat eat you) water will heal 1 per life.
Monk's bonus: due to amazing agility and reflexes, monks may survive for 5 seconds off of the bridge. (this is to simulate grabbing the edge of bridge as they fall)

posting this waaay early so everyone has a chance to study/learn a class. Most current ruleset of V8 is posted in the files section

August 10 Battlegame:
boat battle V8
lives are 40 total for each boat (if teams of 10, 4 lives each etc.), come alive by touching the mast of the boat. fall off the boat and die. Boat cannot be destroyed
all players play 1st level V8 classes.

on the V8 game, water (park relic) of either type will not be in use
and no specific class will be highlighted

Aug 16th: Quest

this is part 2 of our "quest for water". the populace vs. "Virgil's creations". monsters are regeneration (as per druid spell) immune to control and death, and retain one trait from previous class (lets say zombie was a warrior, he can still wear 6pts of armor).

game is simple, kill the zombies to get to Virgil, (shatter Virgil out to win). Beware though, by now there are a lot of zombies.


Afterward, there will be a V8 lvl 2 battlegame. so study up.

Aug 31 Battlegame:

Nest Raiders
Type of Game: Caravan
People Needed: 4+
Requirements: 15 to 25 balls, spellballs, or small round objects; two large
containers.
Setup: Set up a container in each base. Set the balls into the center of the field.
Goal: The goal of the game is to either kill the class team or end the game with the
most eggs.
Divide the field into two teams. Each team needs to run to the center and take the
eggs back to their base. An egg must be carried in an empty hand. A player who
drops all weapons may carry an egg in each hand. The game ends once a team is shattered or all eggs are in team containers.

sept 7 battlegame:

We're all used to playing a "hunt" style battlegame. 5 people go out, and the rest of the park tries to bring them down. this is the same concept with a twist. the populace makes a blockade, the job of the 5 is to get thru them and back to mwg. While not quite a "deepwoods" battlegame, the blockaid runners can start from any direction outside of MWG. 1/2 count lives. full class structure. RP is spies infiltrating MWG.

Oct 12 battlegame. Hold your postion (King of the Hill)

7.pi version: one team defends, one attacks. 1/2 count lives. there are 3 flags at defending teams base, each time they are attacked, one flag may be taken..when all 3 are taken, defending team is defeated. normal amount of lives.

V8 version: Unlimited for the attackers, life pool for the defenders. Respawn: Groups of three or more for the attackers at their base. Instant for the defenders at their base. Defender respawns reduce the available life pool. Objective: The defending team with the longest duration
in the castle wins. After the defenders are eliminated the teams rotate who is in the castle.
Refresh: Each time the teams rotate.

Nov. 9 Battlegame:

Caravan
Type of Game: Caravan
People Needed: 4+
Requirements: A large item, preferably with some weight to it, a stopwatch.
Setup: Choose 3 bases: Two starting locations and one location the caravan must get
to.
Goal: The object is for the raiders to get the caravan to their base a quickly as
possible.
One side are "raiders" and the other side are "defenders". Raiders play as peasants,
Defenders play class. Two hands are required to move the caravan which can be
supplied by one or more players. Anyone carrying the caravan must walk.
Defenders may also pick the caravan up, but may only carry it back to it's starting
location.
Raiders have unlimited lives and an instant death count, once they tag their base
they may come alive. Defenders have a 50 second death count and normal class
lives. Raiders may not take a death at anytime (To prevent Entangles, Iceballs,
Petrify bolts from being just kill bolts).
Time is called when the caravan reaches the raiders base. Teams switch sides, and
start again. Whichever team defends the caravan the longest wins

for those of you who cannot make it to crown quals, the game will be simple. Team Capt. will have 10 lives, the rest of the team has unlimited. Objective: shatter the team Capt.
