Due to much lack of sleep this week, I am very late posting about Sunday, October 2's happenings.
The Green Dragon's will be decending in mass on our beloved Point in an event called a Kingdom Visit. We will be visited by the likes of Czar Forest Evergreen, his Regent extradionaire Terrik, Kingdom Champion Sir Everlast of the Buttercup (hopefully it will be cool enough for him to grace us with his shiney clanky armor), our wonderful Guild Master of Reeves his Grace Dark Tigger.
Historically Kingdom Visits are very high population days for KP, so arrive early to stake out your choice spot. Remember upon arrival that the Pavelion is most likely rented for the day already and try not to set your gear down near the trenching area. Last Sunday we almost had a dog pile of trenchers by the tree.
There will be water and Gatorade for sale $1 a bottle. The water and Gatorade were donated to King's Point, so there is no recouping cost. ALL proceeds to benefit King's Point.
The ladies of King's Point have also been hard at work this weekend baking their little hearts out to provide a bake sale. Rumor has it that there is a huge amount of coconut cookies (hint hint Sutra) on ice.
And now the part you have all been waiting for.... Sunday's Fundraiser Game.
King's Point is going to be hosting an Outlaw Hunt.
For $1 you can place anyone (who is participating) on the board to be hunted (fair warning.... Fydakin, Draqoonious, and Shamus will all be on the board at least once!). Pay your dollar and watch the foam fly. This game will take place in the full area of the park. Nirvana and the trench area are off limits to the game.
If you choose not to play or are a non combatant, remember to bring your GOLD STRIP.
This is a FULL CLASS GAME. You can kill or subdue your target in any way legally allowed per Amtgard rules. And now the twist... Once your dead (or alive) body is returned to be "jailed", and you've waited your alotted count, you will be rolling for a new class and level to be played on your current life. If you are not happy with your new level, you can always pay $1 to upgrade one level higher. Though personally I am so looking forward to seeing Brenan playing a 1st level Healer.
There is no specific Outlaw that KP is targeting. This is not a target against any one person. Awards will be created and distributed at Winter Coronation for KP's Most Wanted as well as the party who brings in the most "outlaws". So bring your singles and lets enjoy a day of once again beating each other up and experiencing classes we don't normally play
