As far as fighting garb goes, people tend to dress their class. Wizards and Healers in robes, Bar bars wearing fur, ect. My question is, do people do that for "feast" garb as well? Or can they just have nice, fancy(ish) period garb?

I ask because I have a dress I'm considering making to wear to the Bungle feast, but it has nothing to do with being an assassin. I don't want to be the only person there that isn't dressed as my class, and was concerned about whether it was proper to not dress as your class for a feast.

Court Garb is essentially your best looking attire that makes you look great. The grimey, smelly, sweaty, dirty Fighting Garb typically isn't "welcome" at feast.

At Court, when we have Feast, you're not resembling your class. You are resembling the Persona you have created. If your persona is "Far East", you might be wearing a kimono or possibly hakama with your clan's emblem inlaid into the material. If you are from Western Europe, you might be wearing a doublet and breeches with delicate designs stitched into the seams.

I didn't mean wear the same thing you fight in, more like same thing, but nicer made, still keeping to your class.

That makes sense. Much thanks.

Lynn,

Its all personal preference. I am currently trying to design and make wizards robes for both fighting and feast. I know others where like Connor said is more persona based. I warrior who weras full plate on the field would not wear it to court. As an Assassin I would assume you would want to blend into the crowd not wear garb that says "Look at me I am going to slit your throat while you sleep".

So like just a simple black dress with maybe purple or silver accent? (Fits with my house or company colours.)

Damnit! that'swhat I was going to wear. great now I have to go shopping again. ;)

Seriously, there are no set requirements for feast/court garb. Most people will dress up and wear garb that is more formal in appearance (dresses, poet shirts, cloaks, etc.) I think that wearign such things makes the overall experience better, but it is not required.

Check my Wiki, there is a picture of me in drag from a fundraiser. Not a black dress though. I'll have to work on that. (Now where do I find size 14 stilletto heels...)

You could get the largest ladies shoe size...15 or so...high heel, cut the toes off and take a flat and duck tape the two together.
