Good Evening Crafters of these beautiful Hills!! Dragonmaster is coming up and I wanted to post some highlights to remember. - Sign in will be 1200-1330, judging will begin at 1400 -Limit of 6 entries per person, max of 2 per subcategory - No vintners allowed due to mundane park rules - Items will be scored using the vectored judging system - You may not enter an item that has already received an award or that has been entered into a previous Dragonmaster** When you sign in you will leave your entries in the judging area, write ups are not mandatory if you are presenting your items. However, if you send your items with someone else to present them, sending a write up along is a good idea. **Cooking entries; please have a list of ingredients on hand. **Written entries; please bring 5 copies of your entry for the judges. CATEGORIES Art entries will be scored on complexity, difficulty and execution of the medium, as well as overall presentation. Subcategories: 2d art - intended to be viewed from only 1 side 3d art - intended to be viewed from at least 3 sides Bardic entries will be scored on range, difficulty, entertainment, and overall performance. - Subcategories: Dance, Instrumental, Oratory, Singing Construction entries are scored on difficulty and execution of their intended function, as well as durability in conditions and overall presentation. - Subcategories: Active - specialty items used on the battlefield Armor - items that qualify as armor per the ROP Passive - items not intended for the battlefield or game play Shield - items that qualify as shields per the ROP Weapon - items that qualify as weapons per the ROP Cooking entries will be scored on taste, complexity, and presentation. There will be 5 judges so make sure you bring the appropriate amount. You will be responsible for keeping your dishes the necessary temperature, if something is time sensitive please let us know when you sign up and we will do our best to assist. - Subcategories: Appetizer, Entree, Dessert, Side and Other Garb entries will be scored on durability, difficulty of techniques and materials, and overall finished product. - Subcategories: Court, Fighting, Garb Accessory, Jewelry, Monster Rose entries are items that are intended to be made and donated to the benefit of Amtgard. These will be scored on overall construction and contribution to Amtgard. Writing entries will be scored using usual grammar and writing rules, with regards to structure, spelling, and relevance to the game. Please limit these entries to 4 pages or less. Any supporting portions or references not written by the entrant should be noted. - Subcategories: Factual, Fiction, Historical, Informative, Poetry, and Publications. Good Evening glorious populace of the Emerald Hills! The top 3 entrants for Dragonmaster are; 1) Blight from Tal Dagore 2) Dawn from Emerald Hills 3) Aishling from Tal Dagore Congratulations!!
